Security Type

This refers to the classification of the security.  Examples are: Mutual Fund, Common Stock, Bond, Municipal Bond, Preferred Stock.  Advisors Assistant uses drop down lists to keep track of types so that they are not entered in a free form manner.

The Security Type is stored on the Add / Modify Security Screen.
